PRIMARY LOGO CONCEPT

This concept feels purposeful and perfectly imperfect. Inspired from Dear Heart's brand values – personal, vulnerable, and original – a custom, handwritten logotype was the perfect fit. Our goal was to merge a personal, approachable feel with a high-quality brand.

SECONDARY LOGO CONCEPT

The lady icon conveys the concept of confidence and beauty that is woven throughout Dear Heart's brand. Just like women in the Bible that were brave to share their faith, Dear Heart is a lifestyle brand who encourages women to do the same. The olive branch symbolizes peace – the overall emotion we want the audience to experience when interacting with Dear Heart.

Vulnerability, custom handcrafted jewelry, and Christ-centered values were some defining characteristics that made Dear Heart stand out from their competition. By creating a custom illustrated icon and logo type for their brand, this direction communicated a feminine, one-of-a-kind, and approachable look and feel that resonated with their ideal target audience.

She wanted Dear Heart to reflect her deepest values, the quality of her jewelry, and a brand that was totally original. Her goal was to become an elevated brand that resonated with the larger Christian community and encouraged women to create conversations about Jesus.
